Out of Reach comes from a recurring sensitivity to distance - the kind that can appear even when people are close to one another and still remain elsewhere. These photographs trace moments of withdrawal, silence and separation - in public spaces, behind glass, across rooms, inside movement. They are about the fragile distance that can exist even when we are surrounded by others.
