During Warsaw’s 2025 Equality Parade, a celebration of visibility and solidarity was interrupted when activists blocked a Maersk truck, splashed it with fake blood, and climbed onto the container in protest. The photographs follow the shift from public celebration to confrontation, as rainbow symbols, Palestinian flags, police lines, and spectators occupy the same civic space. Rather than treating the parade as a single mood, the essay looks at how joy, dissent, control, and public attention can exist in the same moment.
